ABOUT
DIABLO FIELD TARGET
Diablo Field Target brings precision airgun competition to the San Francisco Bay Area at Diablo Rod and Gun Club. Our matches combine marksmanship, range estimation and wind reading in a challenging outdoor course of reactive steel targets.
Whether you're an experienced competitor or completely new to Field Target, you're welcome on the range. Our shooters compete in multiple classes and are always willing to help new shooters learn the sport.

WHAT IS FIELD TARGET?
Field Target is a precision airgun sport where shooters engage reactive steel targets placed at unknown distances throughout an outdoor course.
Each target has a circular opening called a kill zone. A successful shot passes through the kill zone, hits the paddle behind it and knocks the target down.
The challenge combines accurate range estimation, wind reading and precision shooting — making every target a new problem to solve.
PRECISION
Challenge yourself with small kill zones, changing distances and unpredictable wind.
